Composition

Our aeCore®PLUS Decorative Laminate is based on polyvinyl chloride, modifier, additives, primer, phthalate free plasticizer (applies only to printed patterns) and lacquer. (Details in technical data sheet)

Our aeCore®PLUS Decorative Laminate does not contain, in a concentration above 0.1% (w/w), any of the substances included on the candidate list (status: January 13, 2010) set out according to article 59 (1.10) of the REACH regulation.

Thermal decomposition:                      None, under normal conditions of use.

In not suitable processing conditions, a thermal decomposition cannot be excluded.

Thermal decomposition may produce the following: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, Hydrogen Chloride, Nitrogen oxides, flammable mixtures.

No hazards under normal conditions of use 

First-Aid Measures

Skin Contact: Solid sheet may be abrasive to, or cut skin. Fabrication operations such as milling, cutting, grinding, etc., may produce chips that may be irritating. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.

Eye Contact: No hazard for product as sold. Fabrication operations such as milling, cutting, grinding, etc., may produce chips that may be irritating. For chips, flush eyes with water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.

Ingestion: Not an expected route of entry with normal use of product.

Fire Fighting Measures

Extinguishing means:

Water, foam, CO2, dry extinguishing agents

Special hazards:

Under fire conditions, fumes can contain carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), water Vapor, and also hydrogen chloride (HCl).

Explosive mixtures can arise due to decomposition.

Personal protective equipment:

In case of fire, a breathing protection with combination filter and rubber boots

are to be worn. In case of high concentration of fumes, a self-contained breathing apparatus is

to be used

Storage

In order to keep the properties of the laminate, it is advised to store it cool and dry in closed rooms.

Do not expose directly to sun radiation and heat-sources.

Exposure Controls / Personal Protection

Protective gloves - Gloves suitable for protection against cuts and abrasions from sharp edges are recommended.

Eye protection - Wear safety goggles during fabrication operations that produce chips or fine particulates.

Toxicological Information

Toxicity to Animals: This product has not been tested for animal effects. This product is not expected to be toxic to animals.

Toxicity to Humans: This product has not been tested for human effects. This product is not expected to be toxic to humans.

Ecological Information 

Product is not soluble in water

Under adequate handling conditions, no negative effects on the environment and no hazards

have been reported.

Disposable Information

Recycling is possible: talk to Recycling-companies.

Recommendation for disposal: can be disposed with household waste, in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations.
